Dr. Kadihjia S. Kelly
Dr. Kadihjia Kelly, Licensed Professional Counselor, has been working in the field of counseling psychology since 2008. Her expertise when working with self-identified Black/African American clients focuses on Critical Race Theory and Racial Battle Fatigue. She currently facilitates the Black Girls Healing Group in the Fox Valley area as well as the Young Women of Colour Group in the Winnebago area. She earned her Bachelors of Social Work from Marian University, her Masters degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and returned to Marian for her Doctorate of Philosophy in Leadership and Administration. Her dissertation focus was: African American Freshmen Students and their experiences with curriculum and environment at Predominantly White Institutions.

Stars Counseling offers clients a safe, confidential space to discuss concerns relating to: trauma, emotional health, relationships, career, family, experiences of discrimination and oppression, low self-worth, depression, anxiety, and stress. Stars Counseling serves all ages.

Stars Counseling provides confidential healing groups to women and girls of colour. These age-appropriate groups offer peer support, connection, and psycho-education around topics determined by and important to group members themselves.

Dr. Kelly has worked with local agencies and businesses to provide anti-racism training and consultation. This service provides professional leaders with the tools needed to establish a professional environment free of racial harassment and racial microaggressions.
